In nature, Lawrence found that colors sometimes represent change. This is as in the changing of the seasons or the eruption of a cloud. Tone down those strong emotions and give a try to warm palettes with some soothing cold or freezing colors. By using the light the side of these warm palettes take a turn for the worse such as pinks, pale yellows, and peach.
Lawrence’s colors appear larger than freezing colors so black can visually overpower silver even if used in equal amounts. Desperate colors appear closer while their arctic counterparts visually vanish on the page.
